About the library

A resource centre for teaching, learning and research

Established in 1992, the Nargund College of Pharmacy library has been catering to the learning needs of its students, faculty and researchers. It is among the well-stocked college libraries, with subscriptions to national and international journals, magazines and 10 dailies.

Fully automated and able to seat 80 users at a time, the library sits within the college campus for day scholars and hostellers alike. It runs on the latest version of the LIBSOFT library automation software, and access, retrieval, copying and printing of digital material is made easy. Material on CDs, DVDs and video cassettes is also available.

The central library is a resource centre for teaching, learning and research. Its objective is to provide the right information to the right users at the right time: incorporating the latest technology, taking a user-friendly approach to students and faculty, and building a comprehensive collection of books and journals for the institute.

Right information, at the right time, to the right person.
