Through empirical research backed by theoretical knowledge and practical application, we formulate preventive measures, treatment procedures, metastasis and survivorship in diseases faced by mankind.
Since our founding in the year, 2000 by Dr. L. V. G. Nargund, NRF has worked and harnessed lifesaving research increasing the well-being of humankind, globally. Through a highly advanced, streamlined unique research program, we scour for the brightest minds in the fields of science and medicine. Our eminent facilitators and radical pedagogies offer our scholars ample resources to pursue their best ideas and execute it proficiently. As a result, our researchers are equipped to make discoveries and design new approaches to address all aspects of the treatment of diseases.

In the advent of the year, 2000, Dr. L. V. G. Nargund pursued his dream to set up a research foundation in memory of his grandfather, Dr. K. S. Nargund. His grandfather’s nuanced research contributions and achievements persuaded Dr. L. V. G. Nargund to establish a platform for the brightest minds to meet and use their expertise for the well-being of humanity. He strived to ensure that the young aspirants of research were thoroughly equipped with a refined taste and sensibilities empowered by an aptitude and prowess towards advanced research. His objective has been to render scientifically driven work leading to self-efficient inventions and groundbreaking research uplifting humanity and contributing indefinitely to the progress of the field of health care and medicine. Dr. K. S. Nargund’s guidance, exposure, and blessings developed a unique flair and knack in Dr. L. V. G. Nargund’s which helped him recognize the power of research and its potential to transform the lives of millions of women and men worldwide. He chose to share his learnings and establish an institution dedicated to tackling diseases through a new research-oriented scientific approach.
Our mission is to train and develop skilled youngsters in the field of scientific research by offering them guidance through technological and scientific expertise that supports them to successfully come up with solutions for the problems faced by humankind all across the globe in the field of health and medicine.
We dream of a world free of fear, hospital visits, impact of side effects and needless suffering, thereby ensuring that humanity does not have to suffer by the fatal consequences of diseases.
